Digitech Systems Achieves SAS 70 Type II Certification

Greenwood Village, CO – July 22, 2008 – Digitech Systems Inc. is proud to announce that they have completed the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) No. 70 Type II audit. The opinion issued was unqualified demonstrating Digitech Systems’ commitment to and the establishment of, well designed and executed control objectives and related processes and procedures. SAS 70 is the authoritative guidance that allows service organizations to disclose their control activities and processes to their customers and their customers' auditors in a uniform reporting format. The SAS 70 Type II audit included comprehensive reviews and tests of Digitech Systems general computer controls. Federal regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley, Gramm-Leach-Bliley and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) require corporations to audit the internal controls of their suppliers, including those that provide on-demand services. By undergoing the SAS 70 audit, Digitech Systems can provide its customers with a comprehensive audit report that facilitates compliance with these and other regulations.
